ODD Box V1 Pedal
Model: 01256635

The hard-clipping, op-amp-based circuit of the ODD (Over Drive Disorder) delivers all of the sounds of a cranked, saturated tube amp made famous in legendary recordings. True to its inspiration, the ODD is perfect for adding a little breakup to an otherwise clean tone, or dramatically transforming your clean pedal-platform amp into a punk-rock powerhouse. To accurately deliver this popular modern tone, the ODD is built like an iconic pedalboard staple with through-hole construction using premium components, including a TLO82CP Op-Amp, 2N7000 transistors, & hand-selected capacitors & resistors.

Featuring classic-inspired controls & sounds, including a UK/US Switch, the ODD can quickly flip personalities. Engaging the UK setting distorts earlier, bumps the upper-mids, and increases volume – giving this setting more of a cranked, “chimey” amplifier tone. The US setting has a little more clean headroom, allowing the ODD to act more like a boost at first, and better aligns with traditional tweed-based “edge of breakup” amplifier tones.

Raster 2 (Digital Delay Pedal)
Model: 00364900

The Raster is a 1600 ms digital delay with a pitch and frequency shifter integrated into the feedback path. Forward or reverse delay can be shifted once or have continuously shifted repeats. Three delay ranges allow you to precisely dial in resonant feedback and instantly change delay time with rhythmic shifts. The feedback control has infinite repeats at 3 o'clock and chaotic, textured feedback loops at higher levels. Knob responses are carefully tuned for exploration of self-oscillation and feedback on the verge of blowing up. A tone control sweeps from dark analog-style repeats to digital clarity and emphasizes the attack at higher settings. The left and right delay times can be set as a ratio, so a single knob changes both in sync. The two delay channels can be arranged in series, parallel or ping pong.

Three pitch and frequency shifting algorithms are integrated into the feedback loop. Pitch shifting repeats up or down in semitone steps creates tempo-synced arpeggios and alien organ sounds. The detune setting can dial in micro pitch shifts and chorused repeats. The frequency shifter creates flanger-like textures and radical dissonant echoes. The left and right channels can be shifted by the same amount, a ratio, or opposite directions. At subtle settings, repeats evolve in a way that sounds natural, but different from analog delays.

The Raster's modulation section has seven waveforms that can be assigned to delay time, pitch shift, or effect level (for tremolo). There are two random waveforms for glitchy sliced delays or random pitch shift, wow and flutter, and broken tape deck effects. Envelope and inverse envelope enable dynamic flanging and pitch bent delays. Stereo controls adjust the modulation amount and phase between channels, for subtle shifts or swirling psychedelic washes.

The Raster 2 is performance friendly, with 6 knobs and 9 switches. The original Raster was praised for its knob response and immediacy, and the Raster 2 maintains that simplicity while adding flexible modulation and extensive stereo functionality. Alternate knob settings are related to the primary knob function, labeled, and off at the center position. Both footswitches can be latching or momentary, for instant pitch jumps or quick blasts of echo. The bypass switch can also mute the output in bypass while always listening, to catch, repeat, and manipulate what you just played.

The Raster is designed and assembled in Plymouth, MI, USA.

Context 2 (Reverb Pedal)
Model: 00364898

The Context is a reverb pedal inspired by 1980's rack mount reverbs. It has 8 algorithms, including room, hall, cathedral, gated reverb, reverse reverb, plate, spring, and a granular reverb. Each algorithm features separate high and low frequency damping controls, pre-delay, modulation, dynamics (duck/expand), and infinite hold. In addition, delay is always available, along with tremolo in spring mode.

The modulation knob changes the amount and character of the internal reverb modulation, specific to each algorithm. It gives you a mix of different modulation types from 1980's and early 90's reverbs, including chorus modulation, random modulation that keeps the pitch stable, and deep modulated reverbs. Holding down the shift button adjusts the modulation rate.

Reverse reverb fades in louder and brighter over time, giving the impression of playing backwards. Modulation adds a wash of normal reverb.

The spring reverb was designed using the techniques and algorithms that were used in 1980's reverbs, but with enough DSP power to drip and feel like a spring tank. You can adjust the length of the decay, high and low frequency damping. The modulation is tremolo with adjustable intensity and speed.

Grain mode is a granular reverb inspired by the Ursa Major SST-282 Space Station. The SST-282 was released in 1978 and used multiple delay taps with modulation to create reverb effects. The Context can create ghostly reverb effects, slowly sweeping resonances, and at higher modulation settings is a multi-voice granular processor that creates clouds of detuned sound fragments for entirely new reverb sounds.

When the shift button is held down, the top row of knobs adjust delay parameters. The low and high damping knobs adjust dynamics for ducking reverb or an expander for more reverb on louder notes, with adjustable threshold and recovery time. Holding down the foot switches gives you two different types of infinite sustain.

One preset available on the left footswitch, 4 using a remote footswitch, and 127 via MIDI. The expression pedal can be assigned to any combination of parameters. We also have a web-based editor for tweaking and managing your presets.

Designed and assembled in USA. The Context 2 requires a 9 V 250 mA center negative power supply (not included).

HAL LEONARD
Boost MKII Pedal
Model: 00366978

This pedal will transform your guitar rig!

Don't let the Vertex Boost MKII's name fool you–it's much more than a mere boost. Make no mistake, this multifunction guitar pedal can function as a gain booster, with +16dB of ultra-transparent gain that can either drive your amp into saturation or give your solos a squeaky-clean level bump, depending on where you choose to deploy it. Able to accommodate both line- and instrument-level signals, the Boost MKII also includes ultra-linear input/output buffers that are guaranteed to elevate the sound of your entire rig. This stompbox's buffers can propel a typical mid-level rig into pro-level territory with zero tonal coloration. And if your rig is already 99% of the way there, the Boost MKII will deliver that elusive missing 1%. Beyond that, the Boost MKII's insert jack enables you to adjust your volume via an external treadle-style pedal while keeping your guitar's signal completely isolated–it's like plugging straight into your amp. Boasting a compact enclosure that's 33% slimmer than its predecessor, the Vertex Boost MkII belongs on every tone-obsessed guitarist's pedalboard.

OFFERS MORE THAN +16DB OF EXTRA GAIN WITH ZERO SONIC COLORATION

While the Boost MKII offers a myriad of useful functions, it's a clean booster pedal at heart. Its straightforward Level knob ranges from unity gain to a healthy +16dB. Placing the Boost MKII in front of your amp or dirt boxes adds saturation and sustain to your signal, while placing it after your preamp and dirt boxes gives you a full-range level increase. Best off all, the Boost MKII doesn't change the tone of anything that comes before it's sonically invisible.

INPUT AND OUTPUT BUFFERS OPTIMIZE YOUR SIGNAL PATH FOR MAXIMUM TONE

Guitarists are always searching for new ways to elevate the sound of their rig. Thanks to its top-shelf input and output buffers, the Vertex Boost MKII will do just that. How can a set of buffers transform a noisy, novice-sounding rig into a quiet, pro-level one? For starters, these buffers condition your rig's entire analog signal path, ensuring optimal input and stable output. They also exhibit an unprecedented level of linearity, while ensuring zero coloration of your signal–even with dozens of stompboxes in your chain. The Boost MKII's input buffer compensates for pickups with different impedances, ensuring that both single-coil- and humbucker-equipped guitars retain every ounce of their tone, while its output buffer tackles arena-sized cable runs like a a champ. Steel String Supreme (Slight Return Edition)
Model: 00394738

When it comes to Bluesy cleans and fat lead tones, the Vertex Effects Steel String Supreme (Slight Return Edition) – based on serial #001 of a legendary six-figure Dumble Steel String Singer – is the only tone shaper you'll need in your arsenal. Whether you're front-ending a stage amp with the Supreme expanded all-analog preamp, feeding a little D-style sugar into your Amp Modeler, or even running straight into a Cab Simulator/IR Loader, this pedal is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Just like the amp it's named after, the Steel String Supreme (Slight Return Edition) is characterized by a fat and glassy tones sound that absolutely marinates signals in tubelike harmonics as you ramp up the gain. The Slight Return Edition's active EQ and Bright/Deep + Rock/Jazz switches add new tone-shaping capabilities from the original SSS and bring you a bit more available top end “glass” and a little more low-end “Snap” to this latest addition to the Steel String family. From subtle fattening and clean compression to full-on overdrive, the Vertex Effects Slight Return Edition is the next best thing to having the real-deal SSS in your rig.

Players like Eric Johnson, John Mayer, and Santana have all sung the praises of a rare 100-watt 6L6 blues machine that achieved legendary status in the mid-1980s. And whether it's the ultimate cleans that you're searching for or a lead tone with slight overdrive but tons of BODY the Vertext Steel String Supreme (Slight Return Version – successor to the Steel String MKI Slight Return Version is packing 500% more tone-shaping potential – faithfully captures that “SSS” (that's “Sparkle, Squish, and Saturation”) magic in a pedalboard-friendly stomp.
