The Knights' Creed

The medieval knights had a code of chivalry that included courage, community and wisdom – in this composition each of these ideals is symbolized with its own melody. The percussion provides the framework as these melodies are stated individually, in pairs and ultimately all together in a triumphant conclusion. This work is an ideal high-energy concert opener or festival piece that showcases all sections of the band and allows them each to play the melody. Dur: 5:10
